Quaker State 400 Predictions
The 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy Series drives under the lights again this weekend with the running of the Quaker State 400. Here’s some drivers we think could cash in tonight.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Martin Truex Jr. is favored to win today, as he is listed with +375 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Kevin Harvick (+500), Kyle Busch (+500), Brad Keselowski (+800) and Joey Logano (+800). The Quaker State 400 is set to take place tonight at 7:30PM ET from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky.
52201 Martin Truex Jr. +375
It’s hard to look past Truex tonight as he is the two-time defending champion of the race. Truex has an average finish of 10.1 at the track over eight races and a 105.7 driver rating. Truex already has four wins this year and is one of the top drivers in the standings right now, so you don’t have to worry about him not showing up tonight. I like him to contend for the third straight victory.
52204 Brad Keselowski +800
Like Truex, Keselowski has had a lot of success at this race. Of the eight times it has been held, he has won three times. His average finish at the track is 11.4, while his driver rating there is 109.6. Keselowski has three wins this year, but has had a few rough outings as of late, including a 39th-place finish at Daytona last weekend. I expect him to bounce back in a big way tonight.
52208 Ryan Blaney +1600
If you are looking for a dark horse tonight, Blaney is worth some consideration. He has raced at Kentucky Speedway just three times in his career, but has finished in the top 10 twice. His driver rating at the track is 94.7, which is amongst the top 10 in the field. Blaney has picked up a win in each of the last two years in this series and is seeking his first win of 2019. Despite being winless, Blaney has five top-5 finishes this year and I think he can make a push to upset the field tonight and earn you a big payday.
