Daytona 500 Odds
We are about a month away from the 2017 Daytona 500. Here is an early look at the odds to win the race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is favored to win this race, as he has 6/1 odds. Other short odds to prevail are Brad Keselowski (15/2), Jimmie Johnson (10/1), Joey Logano (10/1), Kevin Harvick (10/1) and Kyle Busch (10/1). The Daytona 500 takes place on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2:30PM ET from Daytona International Speedway.
Dale Jr. is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500, last winning in 2014. He has finished in the top 3 four of the last five years, but is coming off missing big chunk of 2016 due to concussion issues.
Keselowski has never won this race. His best finish was third in 2014. Last year he placed 20th.
Johnson has won this race twice, last doing so in 2013. He finished fifth in 2014 and 2015 as well. Johnson is coming off a NASCAR Championship in 2016.
Logano won this race in 2015 and finished sixth last year.
Harvick won this race in 2007. He finished fourth last year and second in 2015. He also was runner-up in 2009.
Busch has never won the Daytona 500. He missed the race in 2015 due to injury, but came back last year and placed third in 2016.
