Kenseth wins again
BROOKLYN, MI (TheSpread) – Matt Kenseth continued his impressive numbers at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday by winning the Pure Michigan 400.
Kenseth had the pole position to begin the race and went on to lead a total of 146 laps, including the final set to get the victory. Kevin Harvick had another strong finish, taking second, while Martin Truex Jr. finished third.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kenseth entered this weekend with 8/1 odds to win the race, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $800.
Kenseth now has three wins on the year and he has won two of the last three races. Two of his victories have come from the pole position. Harvick remains the points leader by 47 on Joey Logano, who finished seventh on Sunday. Austin Dillon had a rare top-5 showing on Sunday to place fourth while Denny Hamlin came in fifth place.
