Despite not having much success in the first two races of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, Jeff Gordon once again finds himself as one of the favorites to win the UAW Dodge 400 this weekend.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have made Gordon a 5/1 odds to win favorite in the 2008 UAW Dodge 400 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If Gordon was able to meet the oddsmakers predictions and win the 2008 UAW Dodge 400 a $100 wager would pay bettors $500.

Gordon’s Hendrick Motorsports teammate and 2007 Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson leads all drivers at 9/2 odds to win the UAW Dodge 400 according to Bodog Oddsmakers. A win by Johnson would pay bettors $900 for every $200 wagered.

Last week’s winner of the Auto Club 500 from California Speedway, Carl Edwards finds himself right behind Gordon and Johnson at 8/1. Edwards shares those odds with Joe Gibb’s racing driver Tony Stewart who is also listed at 8/1.
