The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has reached the Playoffs. Here is a look at the odds to take home this year’s Sprint Cup Championship.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is favored to take this year’s title, as he has 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (13/2), Martin Truex Jr. (7/1) and Brad Keselowski (15/2). The postseason begins this week with 16 drivers vying for the title. After the next three races, the field drops to 12. It then moves to 8 after 6 races and down to the final four with one race left. From there, the top finisher in the final race is the Sprint Cup champion.
Bet on the Chase for the Championship
With the re-formatted standings, Harvick is tied for fourth, six points out of first. He had two wins during the season. Truex is tied for fourth with Harvick after getting two wins in the season
Busch is currently tied for first with Keselowski after each picked up a series-best four wins this season.
Other drivers contending for the title are Carl Edwards, Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth, who each have 8/1 odds. Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Larson are listed at 10/1 while Chase Elliott and Kurt Busch are at 20/1. Tony Stewart has 25/1 odds while Austin Dillon has 75/1 odds and Jamie McMurray is a longshot at 100/1.
