2008 Aaron’s 499 Odds
Although Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t won a race in over two years oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have listed Earnhardt Jr. as the favorite to win the 2008 Aaron’s 499 from Talladega Superspeedway.
Earnhardt Jr. is currently listed at 4/1 odds to win according to Bodog oddsmakers, right in front of Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon who is listed at 5.5/1. Gordon won both races at Talladega in 2007.
Gordon is followed by Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart who are both listed at 6/1 and 2007 Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson rounds out the top 5 at 7/1.
Bodog oddsmakers have listed odds on 44 drivers for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Aaron’s 499 although only 43 drivers will actually start Sunday’s race.
There are 6 drivers who can be considered long shots this week. John Andretti, Dario Franchitti, Joe Nemechek, Jon Wood, Kyle Petty and Michael McDowell are all listed at 20/1. A winning wager on any of these drivers would pay $2000 for every $100 bet.
Please keep in mind these odds are prior to Saturday morning’s Sprint Cup Qualifying for the 2008 Aaron’s 499. Almost all of these odds will certainly change after the starting grid is set. To view the current NASCAR odds up until the starting time please click here.
