Other short odds to prevail are Kevin Harvick (5/1), Kyle Busch (5/1) and Matt Kenseth (7/1). The Auto Club 400 takes place on Sunday, March 20 at 3:46PM ET from Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Johnson is a two-time winner of this event, last claiming the victory in 2010. He has a total of five wins at this track with an average finish of 6.4 and a driver rating of 119.4, which is best in the field.
Harvick won this race in 2011, his lone win at Auto Club Speedway. Harvick has an average finish of 12.94 at the track and a driver rating of 96.8, which ranks fifth in the field.
Busch is a two-time winner of this race, last winning in 2014. He has won three times in his career at Fontana and has an average finish of 9.25 and a driver rating of 110.0, which ranks second in the field.
Kenseth has won this race three times, last doing so in 2009. His average finish at Auto Club Speedway is 10.2 and his driver rating is 106.1, which ranks third in the series.
