Ford EcoBoost 400 Picks

Which driver will take home the Ford EcoBoost 400 title today and also the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Jimmie Johnson is favored to win the race, as he is listed with 4/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (5/1), Joey Logano (6/1), Kevin Harvick (6/1) and Carl Edwards (7/1). The Ford EcoBoost 400 takes place today at 3:15PM ET from Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, FL.

Bet on the Ford EcoBoost 400

Jimmie Johnson isn’t at his best track, but he’s still hard to bet against with it all on the line. Johnson needs to finish ahead of Logano, Edwards and Busch to claim another Sprint Cup title at a track he’s never won at. Despite that, he still has some decent numbers at the track, as his driver rating is 96.8. Johnson should certainly be in the mix to win today.

Kyle Busch is the defending Sprint Cup champion, which means he ran well here a year ago to claim the title. Busch has a driver rating of 95.5 at Homestead, which isn’t great, but you can’t take the title away from him quite yet. I expect Busch to be very aggressive and make it tough for anyone to unseat him.

Carl Edwards isn’t being given much respect with 7/1 odds to win. He has the best numbers of all the drivers competing today, not just the four in the Chase. Edwards is a two-time winner at Homestead and his driver rating is 109.4. With it all up for grabs, Edwards will give all he has to win today.
