Toyota/Save Mart 350 Predictions
The 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy Series returns to action after a week off by competing in its first road race of the season. Here’s the drivers we like for today’s Toyota/Save Mart 350.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kevin Harvick is the favorite to win today, as he has 7/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Martin Truex Jr. (9/2) while Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer and Chase Elliott each have 6/1 odds. The Toyota/Save Mart 350 is set to take place today at 3PM ET from Sonoma Raceway.
Kyle Busch 6/1
Busch is a solid driver at road courses and he is a two-time winner of this race at Sonoma. His driver rating here is 91.9, which ranks near the top of the field. Busch has four wins this year already and has placed in the top 10 in all but one race. He is almost certain to be among the top contenders for the race and I think he will be the one to come away with the win.
Clint Bowyer 6/1
Bowyer is another driver that seems to be at his best at road courses. Sonoma has been a great track for him as he has eight top-5 finishes in 13 races there over his career. His average finish is 10.1, while his driver rating is a strong 92.0. Bowyer is without a win this year and is slipping in the standings, so he is certain to bring his best to these two road races. He needs the win today and I think that makes him a strong betting option.
Kurt Busch 10/1
Like his brother, Kurt Busch is strong at road courses as well. He has the top driver rating of anyone in today’s field, as he posts a very impressive 107.1 at Sonoma. He is a former winner at the track with 10 top-10 finishes in 18 races there. Like Bowyer, Busch is in need of a win today in order to secure his postseason plans. He is coming off a second-place finish at Michigan two weeks ago and can follow that up with a win today.
