The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kicks off the racing weekend later today with the running of the Alpha Energy Solutions 250. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Chase Elliott is favored to win, as he has +225 odds. Other short odds to win are Matt Crafton +400 and Johnny Sauter +475. The Alpha Energy Solutions 250 takes place Saturday at 3PM ET from Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Matt Crafton has some good history at Martinsville, winning this race in 2014 while finishing second in 2015. Crafton won a pair of races in the 2016 season and he finished second in one of his two races this year. He should be able to make a run at today’s win.
Johnny Sauter was the 2016 series champion and I like him to have another strong run today. He is a former two-time winner of this race and he also finished fourth in the 2015 race. In 2016, he picked up three wins and he should be a top contender to get his first win of 2017 today.
Christopher Bell has +500 odds today and I like that number for him. He is coming off a win in Atlanta in the last race of the series and he has won at least one race the past few seasons as well. This could be the year that Bell really breaks out and makes a push for the series title. He finished fourth in the second race at Martinsville last year, so I think he has what it takes to get around this course faster than anyone.
