Lucas Oil 150 Picks
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes part is some night racing tonight with the Lucas Oil 150. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, William Byron is the favorite to win this race, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton, who each have 9/2 odds. The Lucas Oil 150 takes place today at 10:18PM ET from Phoenix International Raceway.
William Byron is the favorite because he is the most consistent regular. He has six wins on the year. He actually made his truck debut at this track last year, and while he didn’t perform well, he should be eager to return to his first track. He has finished in the top 10 in five straight races and will be right in the mix amongst the leaders toward the end of the race.
Matt Crafton has been in the mix in this race before, finishing second in 2014 and fifth in 2015. He has had a respectable season, winning a pair of races. He has five other top-5 finished along with three runner-up finishes. Crafton should be able to push Byron for the victory.
Timothy Peters has 6/1 odds to win tonight. He is the defending champion. Thought he is without a win in the 2016 season, Peters has seven top-5 finishes this year. He has finished in the top 5 in three of his last five races. We think he has some good momentum going right now heading into a track he has done well at.
