Chevrolet Silverado 250 Predictions
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series gets the rare spotlight on a Sunday with the running of the Chevrolet Silverado 250 today. Here’s our picks for this race.
According to the latest oddsmakers, John Hunter Nemechek is favored to win this race, as he is getting 7/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Noah Gragson (4/1) and Justin Haley (9/2). The Chevrolet Silverado 250 takes place today at 2:30PM ET from Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Canada.
52000 John Hunter Nemechek 7/2
Nemechek is the former winner of this race and he has been pretty steady over the last few months of Truck Series racing. He has finished seventh or better in his last five outings and he has one win this year. A road course can be tricky, but he has had success there before I think that will be a key in today’s race.
52002 Noah Gragson 4/1
Gragson has been a really consistent driver in the series this year. He has placed in the top 10 in nine straight races, that includes a win and a runner-up finish. He has been able to run well at any kind of track and he finished second in this race a year ago. Look for Gragson to have another strong run today.
52003 Johnny Sauter 9/1
Johnny Sauter isn’t a driver you will get 9/1 odds for often. He has five wins this year with seven other top-5 finishes. He has been the star of the series this year but is getting longer odds because of the road course. However, Sauter has been pretty competitive at this track. He has finished in the top 8 the last four years. Given the longer odds, I think Sauter has a lot of value.
