Eaton 200 Predictions
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will compete under the lights tonight for the running of the Eaton 200. Here’s three drivers we think will compete for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Johnny Sauter is favored to win, as he is listed with +300 odds. Other short odds to win are Noah Gragson (+350), Brett Moffitt (+450) and Todd Gilliland (+600). The Eaton 200 takes place tonight at 8:30PM ET from Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois.
5000 Johnny Sauter +300
Sauter continues to have a strong 2018 season as he had another top-5 finish in the last race at Iowa. He has won four times this year while finishing in the top 5 in four other races. Sauter has yet to grab a victory at this track, but he has finished fourth or better the last four years. Given how well he is driving right now, I expect Sauter to be the man to beat tonight.
5002 Brett Moffitt +450
Moffitt snagged his second win of 2018 at Iowa. He has been somewhat hit-or-miss this season, as he has finished fourth or better in five of the nine races, but been outside the top 10 in the other four. I think the win at Iowa should spark a good run. After he won at Atlanta earlier this year, he finished third in the next two races. Look for Moffitt to stay near the front of the pack in this race.
5004 John Hunter Nemechek +800
Nemechek is the defending champion of this race and he has finished in the top 6 of this event the last three years. The 2018 season hasn’t been his best, as he has three finishes outside the top 20, but I think he will settle in tonight at this track. He followed up his last poor finish with a victory at Martinsville. Nemechek was 27th at Iowa in the last race and I think he bounces back in a big way again tonight.
