Fred’s 250 Predictions

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series waves the green flag for the Fred’s 250 later today. Here’s our drivers we like to win.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Christopher Bell and Johnny Sauter are co-favorites to win, as both are listed with 4/1 odds. Other short odds to win are John Hunter Nemechek and Matt Crafton, who each have 5/1 odds. The Fred’s 250 takes place on Saturday at 1PM ET from Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama.

Bet on the Fred’s 250

Christopher Bell has been arguably the top driver in the series this year. He has a total of five wins as well as 12 top-5 finishes. He has been competitive at Talladega in the past as well. Bell should be the driver to beat this afternoon.

Johnny Sauter is a former winner at this track, claiming the title in 2012. I like Sauter to have another strong run today. He has finished in the top 10 of this race the last two years as well and has finished in the top 10 in five straight. Sauter has two wins on the year and four other runner-up finishes.

Ryan Truex has 9/1 odds to win today. I think there is some really good value for him there. Truex has finished in the top 5 in five of his last seven races and now he comes to a track where he finished eighth a year ago. Truex didn’t have many good runs a year ago, but Talladega was one. With his improved driving this year, he is building toward a win and I think it could come today.
