JAG Metals 350 Picks

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kicks off the racing weekend tonight with the running of the JAG Metals 350. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Christopher Bell is the favorite in this race, as he has +225 odds. Other short odds to win are Johnny Sauter (+375) and Matt Crafton (+425). The JAG Metals 350 takes place today at 8PM ET from Texas Motor Speedway in Forth Worth, Texas.

Bet on the JAG Metals 350

Christopher Bell is favored due to his strong runs of late. He has picked up five wins on the year and has finished third or better in four of his last five races. Bell finished 11th in this race last year, but came away with the win at Texas earlier this year. I expect Bell to set the tone of this race and certainly be one of the top contenders to win.

Johnny Sauter is the defending champion of this race and a two-time winner. He has managed a pair of wins in the 2017 season, but also has seven other top-3 finishes. Sauter is consistently in the mix for victories and is due to pick up another this weekend. I like him to be the man to beat at a track where he is very comfortable.

Ryan Truex is listed with +1300 odds for this race. While Truex has yet to win in the Truck Series, there is reason to believe that could change tonight and give you a big payday. Truex has finished in the top 5 of seven races this year, including the spring race at Texas. He should bring some confidence to this track. He also has finished outside the top 10 in his last three races. The last time that happened he followed it up with a third-place finish. I think Truex has a breakout race tonight and is a great dark horse for the win.
