Lucas Oil 150 Predictions

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series waves the green flag for the Lucas Oil 150 later tonight. Here are some drivers we like to win this race.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Christopher Bell is the favorite in this race, as he has +180 odds. Other short odds to win are Johnny Sauter (+300) and Matt Crafton (+500). The Lucas Oil 150 takes place today at 8:30PM ET from Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.

Bet on the Lucas Oil 150

Christopher Bell has been the top driver in the series this year and he should be able to push for another win tonight. Bell has five wins in 2017 to go along with nine other top-5 finishes. Bell finished seventh at Phoenix last year, but that was a much more talented field than what he is up against tonight. I think Bell is the man to beat.

Matt Crafton is the veteran in today’s race and a guy that has navigated this track many times. He was third here last year and second in 2014. Crafton comes into this race with just one win, but he also has finished second three other times. Crafton doesn’t often finish outside the top 10, so he puts himself near the front of the pack. He just needs the right moves to get to the head of the class.

Noah Gragson is listed with +1200 odds for this race. Gragson has been improving throughout his first full season, picking up a win just a few weeks ago in Martinsville. He has 13 top-10 finishes this year, so he knows how to stay out of trouble. Phoenix is actually one of the tracks he competed on last year as well, so that experience should help him get a strong finish tonight.
