Overton’s 150 Picks
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series gets the racing weekend started this afternoon with the Overton’s 150. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win this race, as he has -140 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Christopher Bell (+300) and Johnny Sauter (+650). The Overton’s 150 takes place today at 1PM ET from Pocono Raceway in Lond Pond, Pennsylvania.
Kyle Busch won this race back in 2015. He has competed in four truck races this year and has won two of them. Busch is the most successful driver of anyone in this field, so he is always the man to beat when competing in the Truck Series.
Christopher Bell is the defending champion and a Truck Series teammate of Busch. Bell is a truck regular and he has three wins on the year to go with four other top-5 finishes. He hasn’t finished worse than ninth in all but one race this year. He should be able to have a good race again today and compete for the win with Busch.
If you are looking for a dark horse today, Matt Crafton is probably your guys with +750 odds. He hasn’t had the best success at this track, but he is one of the more experienced drivers in the field and he is coming off a win in the last race. He also has finished second in Atlanta and has won multiple races in each of the last three seasons. I think he can push for the win today using his experience to stay out of trouble.
