Alsco 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series drives under the lights on Friday night for the running of the Alsco 300. Here’s some contenders we like for this race.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is favored to win this race, as he is getting 1/1 odds. Other short odds to prevail are Christopher Bell (4/1), Elliott Sadler (8/1) and Justin Allgaier (8/1). The Alsco 300 takes place tonight at 8PM ET from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky.
Kyle Busch 1/1
Busch is a three-time winner of this race and the two-time defending champion. Busch isn’t performing as well in the Xfinity Series as he usually does, but he is still the best driver in this field. Out of five races this year, Busch has just one win. History says that trend won’t continue. He won five of 10 races a year ago and 10 of 17 races in 2016. Look for Busch to grab another victory on Friday night.
Christopher Bell 4/1
Bell has been a steady contender in the series this year. While he has only picked up one win, he still has nine top-5 finishes. Bell has been the runner-up three times this year and his consistent contention should make him a threat tonight. Busch is the favorite, but Bell is the regular I like the most. Should Busch have some trouble, look for Bell to be the one to capitalize.
Cole Custer 17/2
Custer is a nice dark horse option to consider this evening. He has finished in the top 10 in 12 of the last 14 races. While he is seeking his first win of the year, he is a former victor in the series. He claimed the win at Homestead last year, so he does know what it takes to win. Custer has finished in the top 5 in five of his last six races and I think tonight could see him break through for the victory.
