According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Sam Hornish Jr. is the favorite to win this race, as he has +275 odds. Other short odds to win are Erik Jones (+500) and Daniel Suarez (+525). The Mid-Ohio 200 takes place on Saturday at 3:48PM ET from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Hornish Jr. isn’t an Xfinity Series regular. He has not won this race, placing 30th in 2014 and third in 2013. He has competed in two Xfinity races this year, winning one and finishing sixth in the other. His experience in IndyCar racing should help on this course.
Jones is competing in this race for the first time. He has competed in all of the Xfinity races this year and has three wins to his credit with a total of 11 top-5 finishes.
Suarez finished 11th in this race last year. He has competed in all of the Xfinity races this year and has one win to his credit to go along with eight top-5 finishes.
