Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series drives under the lights at Daytona tonight for the running of the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Larson is favored in this race, as he is getting 4/1 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Ryan Blaney (9/2) and Elliott Sadler (6/1). The Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 takes place tonight at 7:30PM ET from Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Kyle Larson 4/1
Larson doesn’t compete in the Xfinity Series, but when he has it has been successful. The Cup Series regular has been in three Xfinity races this year and has won two of them. He also picked up three wins in the 2017 season on a limited schedule. I like Larson to be the man to beat, as he is the most acclaimed driver in today’s field and regularly finishes strong when he competes in this series.
Elliott Sadler 6/1
Sadler is a regular in the series but hasn’t been able to find his way to a number of victories. His last win came in 2016, but was at Talladega, which was a fast track like Daytona. Sadler has also had strong runs in this race. He finished second last year and second in 2015. This year, Sadler has finished in the top 10 in all but two races and in the top 5 in nine races.
Christopher Bell 8/1
Bell is a nice dark horse option today with 8/1 odds. He has already picked up a win this year, winning at Richmond months ago. Bell has racked up eight top-5 finishes this year and he has three runner-up finishes to go with his one win in 2018. Bell finished 39th at Daytona to open the year and wasn’t on the track for long. I think he will be eager to bounce back from that performance tonight.
