DC Solar 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series waves the green flag for the DC Solar 300 this afternoon. Here’s the drivers we like to contend for the win today.
According to the latest oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, both Christopher Bell is the favorite, as he has +225 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Ross Chastain (+450) and Ryan Preece (+450). The DC Solar 300 takes place today at 5PM ET from Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. The race will air live on the NBC Sports Network.
51100 Christopher Bell +225
Bell comes into this race with three wins this year along with three other runner-up finishes. He broke out of his mini funk last week by placing seventh at Indy. Today he is at a track that he performed well at in the Truck Series and I expect a solid run in this Xfinity Series as well.
51104 Cole Custer +500
Custer has been very steady this year. He has finished in the top 10 in 20 races this year. While he has yet to crack the winner’s circle, I still like his consistency. He finds a way to stay near the front of the pack and that leads to wins eventually. He has performed well at Vegas during his time in the Truck Series, so he should feel comfortable at this track today.
51105 Elliott Sadler +1200
Sadler had a poor run at Indy last week, but has been pretty consistent as well. He has earned 12 top-5 finishes this year and only been outside the top 10 five times in 2018. As an experienced driver, he can rely on his knowledge of Vegas to work past some of these younger drivers. Sadler has a lot of value with such long odds.
