Food City 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series drives under the lights at Bristol tonight for the running of the Food City 300. Here’s the drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite, as he is getting 2/1 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win are Kyle Larson (5/2), Joey Logano (4/1) and Christopher Bell (6/1). The Food City 300 takes place tonight at 7:30PM ET from Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The race will air live on the NBC Sports Network.
53000 Kyle Busch 2/1
Busch has dominated this race in his career. He is a five-time winner and the defending champion. The 2018 season hasn’t been the best for Busch in the Xfinity Series, as he has just one win in six races. However, he is still the most accomplished driver in the field and certainly knows how to get to the front at this track. I like Busch to be the man to beat again.
53001 Joey Logano 4/1
Logano is another former winner of this race and a Cup Series driver competing tonight. He has only competed in four Xfinity races this year, but he has won two of them and finished second in another. Like Busch, Logano is a very accomplished driver in both the Xfinity and Cup Series. I think he should be able to be right in contention with Busch tonight due to his experience and composure.
53003 Christopher Bell 6/1
Of the regulars in the Xfinity Series, Bell looks like the guy to beat. He has competed in every race this year and has four wins with eight other top-5 finishes. Bell struggled at Bristol earlier this year, but he has had good runs at this track during his time in the Truck Series. I expect Bell to prove he can contend with the top drivers from the Cup Series again tonight.
