NEWTON, IA (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Xfinity Series drives under the lights this Saturday night when drivers compete in the U.S. Cellular 250.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Erik Jones is favored to win this race with +275 odds. Other short odds to win are Ryan Blaney (+300), Chase Elliott (+650) and Daniel Suarez (+650). The U.S. Cellular 250 takes place on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 8:14PM ET from Iowa Speedway.

Jones hasn’t competed in this race before. He has driven in 16 Xfinity Series races this year, winning two of them while having an average finish of 11.2.

Blaney finished 10th in this race in 2012. He has competed in six Xfinity races this year and is winless with an average finish of 9.2.

Elliott finished eighth in this race last year. He is second in the Xfinity Series standings, 25 points out of first. Elliott is winless on the year with an average finish of 9.6 over 18 races.

Suarez hasn’t competed in this race in the past. He is seventh in the point standings, 93 points out of first place. He is winless on the year with an average finish of 13.4 over 18 races.
