Overton’s 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to action on Saturday afternoon with the running of the Overton’s 300 in Chicago. Here’s three drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Larson is favored in this race, as he is getting 5/2 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Kevin Harvick (7/2) and Christopher Bell (5/1). The Overton’s 300 takes place today at 3:30PM ET from Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois.
58001 Kevin Harvick +350
Harvick is a three-time winner of this race, which is only second all-time to Kyle Busch. He can match Busch today with his fourth win. I think Harvick should be the favorite. He is the most experienced driver, has great success in this race, and is on fire this season in the Cup Series. Harvick has a win already in the Xfinity Series this year despite driving in just three races. Look for him to be the man to beat today.
58002 Christopher Bell +500
I like what Christopher Bell has been doing in his first year as an Xfinity Series driver. Though he has only picked up one win, he has finished second in three others and has a total of eight top-5 finishes. Chicago was a strong track for Bell in the Truck Series and I think he will carry that success into today’s Xfinity Series race. Look for Bell to be among the top drivers this afternoon.
58005 Cole Custer +1000
Custer has a lot of value today. He has been on a roll in the series, finishing in the top 5 in four straight races. While he is seeking his first win, he keeps inching closer. Custer is always finding himself in contention, as he has finished in the top 10 in 11 of his last 12 races. He also had a top-10 finish at Chicago last year. I like Custer to keep the strong runs going.
