U.S. Cellular 250 Picks
The NASCAR Xfinity Series caps off an exciting race day tonight with the U.S. Cellular 250. Here are some drivers to consider for this race.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Erik Jones is the favorite this weekend, as he has +200 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski (+250), Daniel Suarez (+400) and Sam Hornish Jr. (+750). The U.S. Cellular 250 takes place today at 8:14PM ET from Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
Brad Keselowski is competing in the Xfinity Series, so you have to give that some consideration. He is the most accomplished driver in this race, even though he hasn’t won in this series this year. He comes into today as a three-time winner of this race and we think he can get No. 4 today.
Sam Hornish Jr. doesn’t have a lot of numbers to back up picking him, but he competed in just one Xfinity race this year, which he won. That race happened to be at Iowa Speedway. He also finished second in this very race in 2013, so he has a history of performing very well at Iowa.
Elliott Sadler has +1400 odds to win tonight, but that has some appeal. He is a former winner of this event, taking the checkered flag in 2012. He also placed sixth at this track earlier this year and has a win to his credit in 2016. He also has four other top-5 finishes and a total of 15 top-10 finishes. He is far too consistent at driving near the front to have such long odds.
