Mid-Ohio 200 Free Picks
The NASCAR Xfinity Series gets back into action this afternoon for the Mid-Ohio 200. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Sam Hornish Jr. is the favorite to win this race, as he has +175 odds. Other short odds to win are Owen Kelly (+450), Ryan Blaney (+650) and Nelson Piquet Jr. (+650). The Mid-Ohio 200 takes place on Saturday at 3:48PM ET from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Erik Jones is being given +700 odds to win today, but I like those odds for him. He is a regular in the series this year and he has won three times. This race seems very open, with not many drivers providing a lot of good reason to win. Jones has been able to compete in most races and is getting a jump to Sprint Cup next year. He has the talent to win today, especially in this field.
Daniel Suarez also has +700 odds to win today and we think those can be good odds for him as well. He is coming off a fourth-place finish at Watkins Glen last week, another road course. He also has a win this year and 16 top-10 finishes. He should be able to find his way to the front in today’s race as well.
Ty Dillon has 12/1 odds to win this race. He is winless on the year, but today could be the day he gets that victory. He has finished second three times in 2016 and fared pretty well at Watkins Glen last week. He was third at this track a year ago, so he knows how to navigate it. Look for him to be a dark horse to win this afternoon.
