Food City 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series drives under the lights tonight for the running of the Food City 300. Here are some drivers we think will contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is favored to win this race, as he has 3/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Joey Logano (7/2) and William Byron (7/1). The Food City 300 takes place Friday night at 7:30PM ET from Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
Kyle Busch is once again competing in an Xfinity Series race where is he is the top driver in the field. Busch is a four-time winner of this race, the last of which came in 2015. Busch is once again a strong driver this year in the series. He has picked up for wins on the year with a total of six top-5 finishes out of eight races.
Joey Logano is competing in an Xfinity Series race for the ninth time in 2017. He has just one win this year, but has five top-3 finishes. Logano is a former winner of this race, taking the checkered flag in 2012. Logano isn’t having the best year in racing in general, but he is still among the top drivers in all of NASCAR. He’s hard to ignore when competing at this level.
Austin Dillon has 9/1 odds to win tonight. He comes into this race as the defending champion. He also finished third in 2013. Dillon has finished in the top 5 in five of the nine races he has competed in this year. Dillon certainly isn’t at the level of Busch and Logano, but he has the ability to win this race and can make it happen again with a break here and there. Of the longer odds, Dillon has good value.
