Johnsonville 180 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will have the racing eyes on it later today when drivers compete in the Johnsonville 180. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
According to the latest oddsmakers, James Davison is the favorite this weekend, as he is listed with 4/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Austin Cindric (9/2), Justin Marks (5/1), Christopher Bell (7/1) and Justijn Allgaier (7/1). The Johnsonville 180 takes place on Sunday at 3PM ET from Road America in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Justin Marks is a driver I like today. He is someone that has had good experience on road courses like the one today, including a win at Mid-Ohio last year. He has only competed in one Xfinity race this year, which was a ninth-place finish at Mid-Ohio. I think Marks will continue to run well at Road America today and make a push for the victory.
Daniel Hemric has 12/1 odds for today’s race, but I think there is good value there. He has been an Xfinity Series regular this year and is coming off a second-place finish at Mid-Ohio a few weeks ago. He also has had a strong history of top-5 finishes in the Truck Series, especially at road courses. With his long odds, I think Hemric could provide a big payout today.
William Byron is a longshot with 20/1 odds today, but I think the young driver could surprise many. He has three wins this year and has been competitive at other road courses, including a 10th-place finish at Watkins Glen. While road courses are still a learning experience for him, he shows great improvement with each race. He started the 2017 season slow but has really blown up in the second half. I think he can continue to shock today.
