Kansas Lottery 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series waves the green flag on the Kansas Lottery 300 later today. Here are some of our picks for this race.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Ryan Blaney is favored in this race, as he is getting odds of +180 to win. Other short odds to win are Erik Jones (+280), Justin Allgaier (+600) and William Byron (+600). The Kansas Lottery 300 takes place today at 3PM ET from Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ryan Blaney has been a steady driver when he competes in the Xfinity Series this year. He has two wins on the season with five runner-up finishes. He has finished in the top 5 in all but one of the races he has competed in this year as well. Look for Blaney to be one of the cars to beat as well.
Justin Allgaier has a pair of wins this year and I think he can pick up a third win today. Allgaier has finished in the top 3 in three of the last four races in this series and he has posted a total of nine top-5 finishes this year. He also has run pretty well at Kansas, placing fifth in the 2013 race. Expect another strong finish from Allgaier today.
Christopher Bell is an interesting driver. He comes into this weekend’s race with 10/1 odds. Bell has competed in just four Xfinity races this year and he has placed in the top 6 in two of them. However, he has been one of the best truck drivers in 2017. He has five wins this year in the Truck Series, that includes a fourth-place finish at this track. I expect Bell to put on a good showing and think he has great value as a dark horse pick.
