Michigan 250 Picks
The NASCAR Xfinity Series waves the green flag for the Michigan 250 today. Here is a look at some drivers we think will contend for the win.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kyle Busch is favored to win, as he is getting 3/2 odds to win on Saturday. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski (5/2), Denny Hamlin (4/1) and Justin Allgaier (8/1). The Michigan 250 takes place today at 1:30PM ET from Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan.
Kyle Busch is a driver you just can’t pass up in Xfinity races. Busch won this race in 2015 and 2004. He had 10 victories in the series a year ago and has won one of the three races he competed in this year. Busch should be the man to beat once again today.
Brad Keselowski is driving in his home state. He won this race in 2009 and 2010 and should have another strong run this year. Keslowski went on a drought in the series, failing to win in 2016, but he ended that last week with a win in Pocono. Look for him to use that momentum today as well.
Denny Hamlin is another former winner of this event, taking the title in 2007. He is also another Monster Energy Series driver jumping into an Xfinity race. He hasn’t competed in this series often, but has a good history. He won four of seven races from 2015-16. He is winless this year in two races, but could compete today.
