According to the latest oddsmakers, Denny Hamlin is favored to win this race, as he is getting odds of +135 to win. Other short odds to win are Erik Jones (+425) Joey Logano (+500), and Kevin Harvick (+650). The Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 takes place on today at 3:30PM ET from Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina.

No driver has had more success in this race than Denny Hamlin. He is the only four-time winner of the event. His last victory came in 2015, but he also came in second place a year ago. Being a Monster Energy Series driver, and a good one at that, Hamlin is as talented as anyone in today’s field. He already has a win in the Xfinity Series in just three appearances and he should be the man to beat today.
Joey Logano is a former winner of this race and he should be right in the mix today. Logano has competed in nine races this year and only has one win, but he also has four other top-3 finishes. Logano may not come away with the win, but he certainly is going to be near the front of the pack. Sometimes that is all it takes. Logano certainly can take advantage is any of the leaders make a mistake in front of him.
Austin Dillon has 13/1 odds to win today. He has yet to win this year, but has been very competitive. He has five top-5 finishes this year and has finished in the top 10 in all but three races. Dillon is one of those drivers that continues to be in the mix and eventually that should pay off for him. With 13/1 odds, today may be the day to jump on him.
