VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 Picks

Which driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will come away with the victory in the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300. Here’s our predictions for today’s race.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Sam Hornish Jr. is the favorite, as he has 7/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Ryan Preece (4/1) and William Byron (9/2). The VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 takes place tonight at 8PM ET from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky.

Bet on the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300

Sam Hornish Jr. is coming off a win in his last race and now moves on to one of his better tracks. He finished fourth here a year ago and has finished in the top 5 at Kentucky in three of his last four appearances. Hornish has plenty of experience at this track, which is something not a lot of Xfinity drivers can say. That experience should pay off today.

Ryan Preece has been very strong in his two Xfinity races this year, finishing second in one while winning the other. Moving to Joe Gibbs Racing has certainly helped him in his performances after failing to crack the top 5 a year ago under a full schedule. Look for Preece to have a strong run today and push Hornish for the victory.

Justin Allgaier is coming off his second win of the year, so he brings some momentum in this race with 11/2 odds. He has been consistent in the Xfinity Series as of late, cracking the top 10 in five of his last seven races. He has not won at Kentucky, but has a lot of top-10 finishes. I think Allgaier should have a good run tonight and be in the mix to make a move late to steal a win.
