Rattlesnake 400 Picks
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action tonight for the Rattlesnake 400. Here are some drivers we like to win this race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Matt Crafton is the favorite in this race, as he is getting 5/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Johnny Sauter and Timothy Peters, who each have 5/1 odds. The Rattlesnake 400 takes place on Friday at 9:19PM ET from Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
Matt Crafton has won this race over the last two years and we think he can make it three straight tonight. Of the truck regulars, Crafton is having the most success in 2016, as he has two wins. Look for him to be near the front again tonight.
Johnny Sauter is another driver that has won this race before and that is key. This is a field with not a lot of winning experience, so Sauter’s knowledge and success at the track should be valuable. Sauter also has a win this year with a pair of top-5 finishes, so we think he can contend for the win tonight.
John Hunter Nemechek has 9/1 odds to win this race and we think there could be some value there. He has yet to compete in this race, but has competed at Texas Motor Speedway. He also has a win this year with one runner-up finish, so he has been able to find success. In a field without any big names, Nemechek should be able to contend for the victory.
