South Point 400 Betting Odds
Denny Hamlin is the current favorite at +650, followed by Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney, who are all +800 to win, respectively. Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain are +850, respectively, folloed by Tyler Reddick at +950 and Joey Logano at +1000. Kyle Busch, meanwhile, is +1200, which are the same odds to win as Martin Truex Jr. and William Byron.
South Point 400 Betting Predictions
OPTION 1: Joey Logano (+1000)
Why Logano? He leads all active drivers with an 8.9 Average-Finish Position in 18 career Cup starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Logano also isn’t in jeopardy of being cut, so he can race freely and take some calculated risks that might wind up allowing him to capture the checkered flag in the end. It’s hard to beat these odds given his track record at LVMS.
OPTION 2: Kevin Harvick (+2800)
Harvick is a two-time winner in Vegas and leads all drivers with 679 laps led in his 26-career Cup starts at this track. He’s also had three top-4 finishes in a five-race span before finishing eighth, 10th, 20th and ninth in his last four. His current odds to win today reflects how he’s run of late, but the bottom line is that Harvick has had a ton of success at this track and if he can capture his mid-season form, he should be in the mix today.
OPTION 3: Kyle Larson (+850)
While Larson was eliminated from the playoffs last weekend, he’s still second to Logano with a 9.2 AFP in Las Vegas. He also has one win, five top-5 finishes and nine top-10 finishes in 12 career starts, so even if you don’t like Larson to win outright, consider him in some head-to-heads if your site offers those props.
