Last year: Kyle Busch completed a Nationwide-Sprint Cup sweep, taking advantage of Jimmie Johnson’s pit-road speeding penalty. Jeff Burton was second.
Last week: Regan Smith won the Southern 500 at Darlington for his first Sprint Cup victory, holding off Carl Edwards in a green-white-checker finish. Busch tangled with Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer to set up the overtime finish.
Fast facts: Five-time defending series champion Johnson won the September race at Dover, his sixth victory on the concrete oval. He swept the 2009 races. … Busch and Harvick were fined $25,000 apiece and placed on probation for four races Tuesday by NASCAR for their actions on pit road at Darlington. … Carl Edwards leads the season standings, 23 points ahead of Johnson. Busch is third, 39 points behind Edwards.

Last year: Kyle Busch won the fourth of his series-record 13 victories in 2010, leading 191 of 205 laps. Busch won the Sprint Cup race the following day, and took the September Nationwide race at the track.
Last week: Busch raced to his first Darlington Nationwide victory, holding off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin.
Fast facts: Busch has five victories in nine races this year to push his career total to 48, one behind Mark Martin’s series record. … Justin Allgaier has a five-point lead over Elliott Sadler in the season standings.

Fast facts: Johnny Sauter, the winner in Martinsville on April 2, has a three-point lead over Timothy Peters in the season standings. Sauter is the lone series regular to win in the first five races. In addition to Busch, Michael Waltrip won the opener at Daytona and Kasey Kahne won at Darlington.

Last year: Larry Dixon won the fourth of his 12 Top Fuel victories in 2010 en route to his third season title, beating Brandon Bernstein in the final. Robert Hight (Funny Car), Jeg Coughlin (Pro Stock) and Andrew Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won.
Last event: Del Worsham raced to his second straight Top Fuel win and third in five events this season, beating teammate Dixon on May 1 in the Spring Nationals. Jeff Arend (Funny Car), Vincent Nobile (Pro Stock) and Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won.
Fast facts: Worsham has a 95-point lead over Dixon in the season standings. Dixon is winless this year. … Mike Neff leads the Funny Car points race, 18 ahead of Hight. Neff won the Gatornationals in March. Hight won the season-opening Winternationals and also topped the field in Las Vegas.
