Fast facts: Five-time series champion Johnson, second in the first two races in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, leads the standings. Keselowski, the Chicagoland winner two weeks ago, is second – one point behind. Last week: Austin Dillon completed a Kentucky Speedway season sweep, and Richard Childress teammate Elliott Sadler was fifth to regain the points lead.
Fast facts: Sadler has a four-point lead over defending series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Dillon is third, 19 points back. Stenhouse has five victories this year, and Sadler has won four times. … Joey Logano won the June race for the fourth of his series-leading six victories this year in Joe Gibbs’ No. 18 Toyota. The car leads the owners’ standings, 13 points ahead of Richard Childress’ No. 2 Chevrolet driven by Sadler. … Kyle Busch, the series career victory leader with 51, is winless in 16 starts this season in his own Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 54 Toyota. He has three series victories at the track.

Fast facts: The event is the third in the six-race NHRA Full Throttle Countdown to the Championship. The top 10 in each class qualified for the playoffs. … The series is returning to recently reopened Gateway after a one-year absence. … Ron Capps leads the Funny Car standings, 96 points ahead of Mike Neff and 97 ahead of Jack Beckman. Johnson has a 93-point lead over Jason Line in Pro Stock, and Ed Krawiec leads Andrew Hines by 11 points in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
