HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) Matt Kenseth met with Joey Logano at NASCAR’s request on Friday and now wants to move past the incident that earned him a two-race suspension.
Kenseth intentionally wrecked Logano as payback three weeks ago and earned the unprecedented suspension from NASCAR. The crash led to Logano’s elimination from the playoffs.
Kenseth was allowed back at the track for Sunday’s season finale race. He met earlier this week with NASCAR chairman Brian France, and then with Logano on Friday before practice.
Kenseth says he believes there are things he and Logano will never agree upon, but the relationship can eventually be repaired.
