Raptors even the series
Toronto was able to even up the series on Tuesday with a 120-102 win at home to make it 2-2. The Raptors have covered the spread in both wins. Toronto is 68-30 overall, 29-19 on the road, 46-52 against the spread and 50-45-3 with the over.
The Raptors had a great showing from the bench on Tuesday in Game 3, as three players put up 13 points or more. Kawhi Leonard still had a solid game with 19 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Kyle Lowry put up a team-high 25 points with six assists and five rebounds while Norman Powell had 18 points off the bench and Serge Ibaka had 17 points with 13 rebounds.
Bucks lose back-to-back
Milwaukee lost back-to-back games for the first time in the postseason with the loss in Game 4. The Bucks failed to get to 105 points for the first time since Game 1 against Boston. Milwaukee is 70-25 overall, 39-9 at home, 57-34-4 against the spread and 50-45 with the over.
The Bucks had one of their worst offensive showings this postseason, going just 11 of 35 from the arc and 17 of 26 from the line. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 25 points with 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocks. Khris Middleton scored 30 points with six rebounds and seven assists, but nobody else scored more than 11 points.
NBA Betting Trends
Toronto
The Raptors are 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Thursday games.
Milwaukee
The Bucks have covered the spread in four straight home games and in 21 of their last 26 following a loss.
Prediction:
Credit to the Raptors for being able to even this series but I still don’t see them as the better team here. Milwaukee is an offensive power, especially at home. The Bucks were able to use their ability to score in bunches to cover in Games 1 and 2 at home and I think returning home from a bad loss will spark them. Toronto really needs its role players to step up with Leonard dealing with an injury in his quad. They were able to do it at home in Game 4, but I don’t think they can do it tonight in Milwaukee.
NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -7
