NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Lakers are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven conference games, but 5-2 ATS in their last seven following a loss.
Denver
The Nuggets are 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games.
Prediction:
These two haven’t met this season, but Denver has covered and won in its last two against the Lakers. The Lakers suffered their first loss in a while against Dallas, as they had been beating up on some of the worst teams in the league over recent weeks. That has to be a concern, as they haven’t played may teams that will push them as of late. Denver is certainly a team that will push them. The Nuggets have far superior depth compared to Los Angeles. Denver has grinded out wins over the likes of Boston and Houston in recent weeks and I think they will be up to make a statement against the Lakers. I think the depth and defense will be too much for the Lakers.
