Bet 2011 NBA Finals Future Odds
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Miami Heat are favored to win this year’s NBA Finals at +160 on the money line. They’re odds are higher than the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics’, whom are both +300 on the money line.
Thanks to the offseason additions of LeBron James and Chris Bosh, the Heat are 5.5 games ahead of the Orlando Magic (+1500) in the Southeast. The Heat are 20-5 at home this year and 21-10 on the road. They’re also 28-8 against the rest of the conference, which is only bested by the Celtics’ record of 29-7.
Speaking of Boston, the C’s are 40-14 and a whopping 12 games above the New York Knicks in the Atlantic. The Knicks may be on the verge of trading for Carmelo Anthony though, so maybe NY will improve its current odds, which are listed at +4000.
The Chicago Bulls, who are +900 to win the NBA Finals, have a 14-game lead over the Indiana Pacers in the Central. The Bulls are a perfect 11-0 against their division and 25-4 at home. If they can improve in any area, however, it would be their road record, which is currently just one game above .500 at 13-12.
In the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs have a league-best 46-10 record, yet are +600 on the money line behind the Heat, Lakers and Celtics. Despite their outstanding record, they’re only six games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks (+700) in the Southwest.
The Lakers currently sit at 38-19 and are 9.5 games ahead of the Phoenix Suns (+20000), who are playing .500 ball at the moment. The Oklahoma City Thunder (+2000) have a slim four-game lead over the Portland Trail Blazers (+5000) and Denver Nuggets in the Northwest.
