NBA Three-Point Contest Odds
ORLANDO, FL (The Spread) – The odds have been released for this Saturday’s NBA Three-Point Shooting Contest, where the Nets’ Anthony Morrow finds himself favored.
Morrow is 3/1 to win this weekend’s NBA Three-Point Contest, while Orlando’s Ryan Anderson has the next best odds at 13/4. James Jones of the Heat is 15/4 while his teammate Mario Chalmers is 4/1. The “long shots” are Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant at 5/1 and Minnesota’s Kevin Love at 6/1, respectively.
Jones won last year’s Three-Point Contest while beating a field that included Boston’s Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. Pierce won the event in 2010 while Allen was the victor back in 2001. Previous Three-Point Contest winners also include Daequan Cook (2009), Jason Kapono (2007 and 2008), Dirk Nowitzki (2006) and Quentin Richardson (2005). The last five winners have all come from the Eastern Conference.

Craig Hodges and Jason Kapono hold the record for most points in a round with 25 apiece. Hodges racked up 25 points in 1986 while Kapono did it in his second of back-to-back Three-Point Contest victories in 2008. Kapono also holds the record for most points in the finals (25, 2008), while Hodges holds the record for most consecutive shots made (19, 1991).
The 2012 NBA All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, February 26 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The odds have yet to be released for this weekend’s game, which will tip off at 7:00PM ET.
