Thursday’s NBA Odds

The featured game of the night is a rematch of recent NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics hosting the Los Angeles Lakers at 8PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Celtics as the favorite with a point spread of -3.5 against the Lakers on Thursday. The over/under total for the game has been set at 177.5 points. The Celtics are 14-10 on the season and 10-6 at home while the Lakers are 14-11 on the season and 3-9 on the road. L.A. is 11-14 against the spread while the Celtics are 12-12 ATS. The Lakers have won three of the last four meetings with the Celtics while Boston has covered the spread in four of the last six with Los Angeles.
Another featured game of the night has the Phoenix Suns hosting the Houston Rockets at 9PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Suns as a 3-point favorite at home against the Rockets while the over/under total has been set at 200.5 points. Houston is 15-11 on the season and 5-8 on the road while Phoenix is 11-14 overall and 5-6 at home. The Suns are just 11-14 against the spread while the Rockets are 15-11 ATS. Houston has won the last two in the series but Phoenix has covered the spread in eight of the last 10 against Houston.
