Monday’s NBA Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA Playoffs continue on Monday with a pair of second round games. Here is a look at the odds and over/under totals for both contests.
The first game of the night is in the Eastern Conference with No. 4 Boston hosting No. 8 Philadelphia at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Celtics have a 1-0 lead in the series and are considered the favorite to win Game 2 according to oddsmakers. Boston has been given a point spread of -4.5, while the over/under total has been set at 174 points. Boston is 28-9 at home and 37-34-2 against the spread while Philadelphia is 17-20 on the road and 37-35-1 ATS. Boston has won its last two against the 76ers, but Philadelphia has covered the spread in three of the last four in this series.
The second game of the night is a Game 1 in the Western Conference, as No. 2 Oklahoma City hosts the third-seeded L.A. Lakers at 9:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Thunder are a 7.5-point favorite at home in the opener. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 191.5 points. Oklahoma City is 28-7 at home and 37-33 against the spread while the Lakers are 16-20 on the road and 31-42 ATS. In three meetings this season, Oklahoma City won and covered in two of them.
