Monday’s NBA Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA playoffs continue on Monday with a pair of Game 5’s in the second round. Here is a look at the odds for both contests.
The first game taking place is in the Eastern Conference with No. 8 Philadelphia taking No. 4 Boston at 7PM ET (View Matchup) in Game 5 from Boston with the series tied at 2-2. Oddsmakers have made Boston a 5.5-point favorite at home for this game, while the over/under total has been set at 174 points. Boston is 28-10 at home and 38-36-2 against the spread while Philadelphia is 18-20 on the road and 39-36-1 ATS. The 76ers have covered the spread in three of the four games in this series.
The second game on the night is in the Western Conference as the third-seeded L.A. Lakers taking on No. 2 Oklahoma City at 9:30PM ET (View Matchup) from Oklahoma City with the Thunder leading the series 3-1. According to oddsmakers, the Thunder are an 8-point favorite at home against the Lakers, while the over/under total has been set at 192 points. The Thunder are 30-7 at home and 39-34-1 against the spread while the Lakers are 16-22 on the road and 32-44-1 against the spread. The Thunder have won six of their last eight against the Lakers and Oklahoma City is 5-2-1 against the spread in those eight games.
