Saturday’s NBA Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA playoffs offically get under way on Saturday. Here is a look at the odds for each of the four games taking place on the day.
The featured game of the opening day of the playoffs is in the Eastern Conference with No. 2 Miami hosting No. 7 New York at 3:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Heat are the favorite in this contest, with a point spread of -8.5, while the over/under total for the game has been set at 187 points. Miami was 46-20 on the season and 28-5 at home while New York was 36-30 overall and 14-19 on the road. The Knicks were 36-30 against the spread while Miami was 32-34 ATS. The Heat have won the last three against the Knicks but New York has covered the spread in four of the last six meetings with Miami.
The other featured game on Saturday takes place in the Western Conference, with No. 2 Oklahoma City hosting No. 7 Dallas at 9:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Thunder are the favorite to win Game 1, as they have a point spread of -7.5. The over/under total for the game has been set at 194 points. Oklahoma City is 47-19 overall and 26-7 at home this season while Dallas is 36-30 overall and 13-20 on the road. The Mavs were 32-34 against the spread this season while the Thunder are 35-31 ATS. Oklahoma City has won three of its last four against Dallas, but the Mavericks have covered the spread in three of those four games.
