Wednesday’s NBA Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA playoffs continue on Wednesday with a pair of elimination games. Here is a look at the odds for both contests that are taking place.
The first game of the night is in the Eastern Conference with No. 2 Miami hosting No. 7 New York at 7:05PM ET (View Matchup). The Heat hold a 3-1 lead in the series and the oddsmakers have them as a clear favorite to win Game 5. Miami has been given a point spread of -11 for the game, while the over/under total has been set at 183 points. New York is 14-21 on the road and 37-33 against the spread while Miami is 30-5 at home and 35-35 against the spread. Miami has won and covered the spread in five of its last six against New York.
The second game of the night is in the Western Conference with No. 4 Memphis hosting the fifth-seeded L.A. Clippers at 9:35PM ET (View Matchup). The Clippers have a 3-1 edge in the series, but the Grizzlies are the favorite for Game 5, as they have been given a point spread of -6. The over/under total has been set at 183 points. The Clippers are 17-18 on the road and 35-34-1 against the spread while the Grizzlies are 27-8 at home and 30-39-1 against the spread. The home team has won seven of the last eight between these two and the Clippers are 4-2-1 against the spread in their last seven against the Grizzlies.
