Saturday’s NBA Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – A series begins and another one ends on Saturday in the NBA Playoffs. Here is a look at the odds for the two contests taking place.
The first game of the night is a second round Eastern Conference game with No. 4 Boston hosting No. 8 Philadelphia at 3PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Celtics are a 5-point favorite at home in Game 1, while the over/under total has been set at 169.5 points. Boston is 27-9 at home and 37-33-2 against the spread while Philadelphia is 17-19 on the road and 36-35-1 against the spread. The home team has won and covered in the last five meetings between these two. The 76ers won and covered in two of the three regular season meetings.
The second game of the night is a Game 7 in the Western Conference first round as the third-seeded L.A. Lakers host the sixth-seeded Denver Nuggets at 10:35PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Lakers are a 5.5-point favorite at home in the contest, while the over/under total has been set at 196.5 points. L.A. is 28-8 at home and 30-42 against the spread while Denver is 19-17 on the road and 40-32 ATS. Denver has covered the spread in four of the six games in this series.
