NBA Playoff Series Prices
(TheSpread) – The 2012 NBA Playoffs get underway on Saturday. Here is a look at the series prices for each of the eight matchups in the opening round.
The series that is drawing the most attention is in the Eastern Conference, with No. 2 Miami taking on No. 7 New York. In terms of star power, this series is tops. Oddsmakers see the Heat as the favorite in the series, giving them a money line of -900, while New York has odds of +600 to win. Miami is 46-20 on the season while New York is 36-30. During the season, the Heat won all three meetings. In fact, Miami has won eight of its last 10 against New York.
The other featured series takes place in the Western Conference, with No. 2 Oklahoma City taking on No. 7 Dallas. According to oddsmakers, the Thunder are the favorite to win this series, as they have odds of -500 to win. Dallas, the defending NBA champions, have odds of +400 to win the series. Dallas is 36-30 overall this season while Oklahoma City is 47-19. Oklahoma City won three of the four meetings with Dallas this season.
