The conference finals in the West features the top two seeds as the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs face the second-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. According to oddsmakers, the Spurs are the favorite to win this series, as they have odds of -175 to win, while the Thunder have been given a money line of +155 to prevail.
San Antonio is a perfect 8-0 in the playoffs this year as they swept No. 8 Utah and the fifth-seeded L.A. Clippers on their way to the conference finals. The Thunder reached the conference finals by sweeping the defending NBA Champs, the Dallas Mavericks, and then beating the L.A. Lakers in five games.
These two teams only met twice during the regular season and they split the two games 1-1. The home team won both contests and the scores were very similar as the Thunder won at home 108-96 on Jan. 8 while the Spurs won 107-96 at home on Feb. 4.
