NBA Finals Odds To Win
(TheSpread) – The 2011-12 NBA regular season has reached its end. Now the playoffs have begun. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s NBA Championship.
According to oddsmakers, the Miami Heat are the favorites to win the playoffs, with 3/2 odds. Other short odds to win are the Chicago Bulls (5/2), Oklahoma City Thunder (3/1), and the San Antonio Spurs (4/1).
Miami is the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Heat are 46-20 this season and 35-13 in the Eastern Conference. The Heat last won the NBA title in 2006. That is the only championship in franchise history.
Chicago is the top seed in the East with a 50-16 record. The Bulls were 38-10 against conference opponents, which was tops of any team in the East. The Bulls have won 6 titles in franchise history, the last came in 1998.
Oklahoma City is the No. 2 seed in the West. The Thunder were 47-19 overall this season and 34-14 against conference opponents. The Thunder have never won the NBA title.
San Antonio is 50-16 on the season and the top seed in the West. The Spurs were 35-13 against conference opponents. The Spurs have won four NBA titles in franchise history, the last of which came in 2007.
